Moosehaven offers several options for residency: The Moose Life Program or the The New Life Program.
The Moose Life Program is reserved for Moose members with 15 or more years of consecutive membership at admission.
Residents place all of his or her financial resources and income into an individual Moosehaven Retirement account. Residents’ housing, meals, activities, transportation and healthcare are paid from his or her individual Moosehaven Retirement account. In the event a resident outlives his or her financial resources, he or she may remain at Moosehaven for as long as they adhere to its rules and policies.
Applicant(s) for the The Moose Life Program must be qualified for Medicare or Medicaid Coverage and one of the following: Social Security, SSI (Supplemental Security Income), SSDI (Social Security Disability Income), or other similar income.
Applicant and spouse (legally married couple) must both be 65 years of age or older.
Structured as a continuing care retirement community on the Moosehaven campus, residents pay a one-time entrance fee and then an on-going monthly fee. Residents maintain their own personal financial responsibilities and assets and only pay for services as rendered.
Offering one and two bedroom duplex villa homes or apartments, Moosehaven’s New Life Program offers maintenance free, home-style living in a secure gated community.
The New Life program require an applicant to be at least 65 years of age (at least one member of a spousal unit must be 65). He or she must also be or become a member of The Moose.
The New Life Program provides peace of mind knowing all future care needs will be provided on campus.
Residents have peace of mind knowing their future care is available right on campus. Moosehaven offers Enhanced Living, Memory/Dementia Care and more.
Located on the Moosehaven campus, the Health Care Center offers short-term and long-term care and includes a physician staffed urgent care clinic and pharmacy.
Interior and exterior maintenance, scheduled transportation, curbside garbage collection, cable television, full-service hair salon/barbershop, computer shop.
Offering the added convenience of meal preparation, residents can choose to have meals catered in or enjoy a freshly prepared item from our cafeteria.
Pub, game/card room, art and crafts, woodworking shop, country store, ice cream shop, billiards, library, scheduled events and social, intellectual, physical and cultural activities.
Providing patrol service both on the premises, and the perimeters of the campus, Moosehaven security is available 24 hours a day for added peace of mind.
